Easily the most advance maintance procedure one needs to do on a Ducati Monster. While you may pray the measurements are aligned correctly any further adjustments should be pursued by experts or the courageous.CHARTS.
1. Locate Seat Removal.

3. Valve Clearance Confirmation
Essentially you are measuring the gaps between 1 & 2 and 4 & 6. The original video above shows a good procedural walkthrough of how the feeler gauges should glide and how to access each of the valves. This simply gives you a more detailed look at what exactly you're doing the terminology used to describe each step.
There aren't too many details on the web or in the maintenance manuals on to dissemble and reassemble the valves. I find the best advice is if you truly need to access and replace shims or internal engine components to follow the given video and parts diagram given from the images and media shown above.
