1. There's a fastening pin holding the bolt in place to plant the tank (1) to the center frame of the Ducati Monster.

2. Carefully life the clip off the sensors array plugs (2) connecting the tank to the instrument cluster.

3. Remove fuel nosels (3 & 4) from the tank. Acheive this by pinching the rings around the nosel tips and vertically lift the rubber gaskets off the lid.

4.Tightening clips (5 & 6) are attached to the hose, remove them and the hose by squeezing the prongs together.

5. Remove the tips by rotating the metal tips from the tank.

6.Transfering the tightening clips and hoses (5 & 6) can be done at this time to the new tank.

7. Have a drain pan or bucket ready for emptying the tank.

8. Unfasten radial gas cap screws with a piece from the hex key set. The appropriate size key should be able to remove all screws including the hidden screw shown in the follow photograph.
