The very first image is all you really need to know. The Seat lifts out of place one the key is placed and turn into the lock slot on the rear frame. My bike has had quite a bit of work done to it to eliminate the rear fender and extraneous metal.

Brief Instructions:

Insure bike is off and cooled down
Locate Rear right handside of bike if facing the tail light
Insert Key in slot and twist
Seat should pop up and out of the locked position
You can lift up and back towards the tail light to remove the seat
Seat reinsertion should be diagonally placed and locked by pressing down on the rear tail end of the bike. The motion should be mouth of seat on tank while gradually lowering the backend onto tail light.
