The Spark plugs are a routine replacement depending on mileage, time or general wear and tear. CHARTS.
1. Insert key near right rear exhaust to remove seat. If necessary, use a screw driver from the underside of the bike to remove fastening screws of the seat cowl before removing the seat. Unfasten the spark plug clip near the key ignition slot and lift the spark plug.
2. Locate spark plug cover cap. Lift cap off spark plug.
3. Loosen plug with wrench, hand remove spark plug.
4. Open box with new spark plug. Open anti-seize lubricant package. Apply anti-seize lubricant along the threading of the new spark plug.
5. Hand thread new spark plug into first spark plug engine hole. Insure snug placement by finishing the tightening with the specialized spark plug removal/fastening tool.
6. Repeat steps for second spark plug.
