The power of the cloud and my current mobile devices have made a dedicated desktop workstation less mandatory. The hardware of my previous workstation will be repurposed into a private cloud / home lab, for virtualization, rendering, streaming, and content delivery needs. The restoration process will result in a new device that exceeds the promises of current market available network attached storage solutions.
